Best at Sea Tours was launched in 2024 with the objective of establishing itself as the premier hosted cruise agency.

The company was founded by Tom Drake, a stand-up comedian, and popular and well-loved podcaster with three decades of experience as a headline performer in the cruise industry. During the past 17 years, he has predominantly performed on Oceania Cruises, where his wife, Dottie Kulasa, has served as a distinguished cruise director.

Dottie is scheduled to retire on March 3, 2026, at which point she will assume a vital role within the company. Throughout her more than 35-year career, she has been recognized as one of the most successful cruise directors in the industry.

Together, Tom and Dottie have entertained thousands of guests globally across various cruise lines, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, and Oceania Cruises.

In addition to his current engagements, Tom has also performed on prestigious cruise lines such as Crystal, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, MSC, Princess, Regent Seven Seas, Azamara, and Carnival Cruise Lines.
